StyleLikeU Exclusive: Tavi Talks Snobby Shows, Backhanded Compliments

We caught a sneak peek at this afternoon's StyleLikeU closet tour, and it features none other than one of our favorite women, Tavi!

While rifling through her racks of vintage dresses, eyeball jewelry, and tiaras, Tavi waxes profound on a variety of topics that anyone interested in fashion has probably talked about or thought through at some time: the problem with wanting to look "pretty," the concept of a costume, and that backhanded compliment of "I love your outfit! I could never wear it…."

And,when it comes to fashion industry people, Tavi doesn't beat around the bush: "I'm not going to go to a show where everyone's acting all snobby and pretending that it's glamorous. It's kind of pathetic. It's so high school." And coming from a girl who's still in high school, that really means something.
