If it comes down to Team Jacob or Team Edward, we're for the werewolf every time. And in real life, we think Taylor Lautner's fly, too—especially in glossy form. His latest magazine cover comes courtesy of
VMAN
, who had Steven Klein shoot him for their September issue, on newsstands tomorrow. Though Taylor is usually rather manscaped, we've never seen him looking quite as manicured as this—a strange mix of pretty and rugged that's beautiful in an androgynous way. Fitting, as it's VMAN's "An Inventory Of Masculinity: The Archetypes Issue," which, judging by the range of boys featured inside—Liam Hemsworth, Diego Garcia, Logan Lerman—offers up many different definitions and types of manliness. Subjective for sure... The greasy (spray-tanned?) werewolf thing won't be for everyone, but it's hard to turn away from those magnetic eyes (and man, the eyebrows!). The interview, though, isn't as mesmerizing: Lautner talks about how boring his life is, and says "like" a lot—as in, "But yeah, no, I, you know, I hang out with my friends, family, and kind of just—I don't even know. It's like, when I am not filming, it seems like—I don't even know what I do." Besides not being Robert Pattinson.
What do you think? Is Taylor your masculinity archetype?
