Temporary Tattoos That Support Kenyan Orphans, Plus An Exclusive Party Invite

We're still on the fence about tattoos (especially after seeing this dude), but we're certainly not going to say no to getting a little ink if it goes to a good cause. And neither should you: Get ready to bear your arms, or any other parts—local non-profit Givology has created an original fundraising collaboration, The Temporary Tattoo Project, that's tapped six top tat artists (including Virgina Elwood from New York Adorned and Saved Tattoo's Stephanie Tamez) to create designs sold to raise money for the Child Sponsorship Program at Flying Kites. Each artist was teamed up with a Flying Kites child still in need of sponsorship to "inspire limited-edition works of art meant to be showcased on your skin," including a colorful carp, a lion riding a vintage airplane (shown), and an-Ikat printed kite. This Greenpoint-based institution runs a school and orphanage in Kenya that aims to transform the standard of care for the country's destitute orphans by furnishing them with high-quality education.
