Here’s How YOU Can Become An R29er For A Day

At the risk of sounding too braggy, we've got to admit that the Refinery29 HQ is a ridiculously fun place to work. We're big fans of impromptu fashion shows, we love to bounce ideas off one another, and we've never met an office-wide happy hour we didn't like. Yet, while we occasionally open our doors for parties or share BTS snaps via Instagram and the official #insider29 hashtag, most don't get a chance to see exactly what goes on behind closed doors. Now, we're about to change that for two lucky people, thanks to our Pitch R29 competition. Inspired by The Intern — the new movie from Nancy Meyers (writer and director of It's Complicated, The Holiday, and Something's Gotta Give) and starring Anne Hathaway — we're encouraging YOU to pitch us your best R29 story idea via Twitter. Between September 15 and September 28, tag your pitch with @refinery29 and @wbpictures and add #R29xTheInternContest for a chance to win round-trip airfare to New York, a two-night hotel stay, plus (drumroll please!) a day at R29's HQ. You'll meet with key editors and creatives, go out to lunch with the staff, and even attend one of our in-office photo shoots before heading home with a tote full of R29 swag. So pitch us your cleverest, most original idea, and we'll see you at the watercooler soon.
