Of the many events we love to throw, exclusive movie nights tend to top the list. Not only do we get sneak peeks at the latest films everyone's about to be talking about, but we also get to circumvent the not-so-pleasant experience of battling through the crowds at an NYC theater on opening night (seriously, ask any local just how early they need to arrive to snag seats).
That's why we're especially excited to announce our screening of The Intern. We've been dying to see the new Nancy Meyers-directed comedy/drama (you may know her from It's Complicated, The Holiday, and Something's Gotta Give, which she wrote and directed) ever since we heard it starred Anne Hathaway, Robert De Niro, and Andrew Rannells. Now we're inviting YOU — as well as all of our most stylish pals in the know — to come to the Brooklyn Academy of Music on September 23 for the screening, followed by snacks and cocktails along with a fashion-insider panel moderated by one of our own up-and-comers, fashion market writer Alyssa Coscarelli. This epic movie night won't be the same without you, so get your name on the list now and arrive early the night of — unfortunately, RSVPing does not guarantee a seat.
Here are all the details:
When: Wednesday, September 23, doors open at 6:30 and the movie starts at 7:00
Where: Brooklyn Academy of Music, 30 Lafayette Avenue, Brooklyn RSVP here.
