The Perfect Outfit: Marguerite’s Run-Around-In Outfit

The elaborate designs you see on Vogue spreads photographed by Mark Seliger and Annie Leibovitz aren't just the result of clever location scouting. Much of it has to do with the design wizardry of Wade & Strauss, a set and production design studio based in New York. As one half of the in-demand team (they've scored shoots for Vanity Fair, Elle, Rolling Stone, Burberry, Target, and Topshop among plenty others), Marguerite Wade is always shuttling around to work with clients in L.A. and New York, which means that while theatrics are part and parcel of her work life, comfort steals the spotlight in her everyday wear. "I like to wear clothes that are comfortable, but still have some style to them," Marguerite states. And while she's often in jeans and sneakers, Marguerite is not one to run past style. "Isabel Marant jumpsuits are perfect since they are super light and comfortable and have a flattering fit," she explains. The easy jacket and jeans pairing she's wearing is another perfect example. "Blazers and jackets can be thrown on quickly over a T-shirt and transition well into spring. And you'll often find me wearing my worn-in Dries Van Noten boots."
