The West Coast Gets A Cafe Habana

Though we L.A. natives are pretty hardcore about our local cuisine (seriously, the produce in California is like the eighth Natural Wonder of the World), the new West Coast outpost of NYC's Cafe Habana is going to be a welcome (and yummy!) addition to the Malibu Lumber Yard. The Cuban-Mexican eatery is opening its doors today, and if it's anything like the NoLiTa hot-spot, all the pretty people will be lining up this weekend for some overpriced-but-delish corn-on-the-cob and the model-hot wait-staff.
Cafe Habana, 3939 Cross Creek Road (at Pacific Coast Highway); no phone.
