Throw Down In Style At These Three San Fran Weekend Events

Head to Fillmore cool cat shop The Brooklyn Circus from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. this evening for a spring trunk show full of strapping new warm weather apparel and accessories. Drinks, dope tunes, and a circus-like atmosphere will be provided free-of-charge.

The Brooklyn Circus

, 1521 Fillmore Street (between Geary and O’Farrell streets); 415-359-1999.
Also tonight, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., is the launch party for Loose Leaf, a curated kinda, sorta art magazine (minus the binding)
published by Manual. The first issue includes contributions from local literary superstar Dave Eggers, one of our favorite local designers, Louisa Parris, and seven others.
Fivepoints Arthouse, 72 Tehama Street (between 2nd and 1st streets); 415-989-1166.

San Francisco’s new small-run clothing manufacturer-slash-boutique The Factory is showing off its Urban Spring capsule collection, said to be packed with flirty dresses and classic blouses, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Last time this place had a party, a giant chocolate fountain along with marshmallows and strawberries were provided. So, yeah, we’ll definitely see you there!
The Factory, 370 4th Street (entrance at Clara Street); 877-531-5225.
