The workweek is finally winding down and while our minds are already on those end-of-week happy hours, we still need our pre-Friday fix to help us get there. Well, we’ve found the perfect pick me up and just in the nick of time! Local watchmaker TOKYObay is celebrating the relaunch of its webstore at Divisadero shop-slash-gallery Rare Device tonight.
The S.F.-based accessories brand is heading into its 21st year with a virtual facelift of sorts — including a fresh new lookbook and video featuring Laura Ellner from OnTheRacks. With her effortlessly edgy yet everyday style, we think the former San Franciscan fashion blogger (she's a New Yorker now!) is a striking fit for the new campaign. The revamped site will also debut a section highlighting its latest Watanabe collab along with a new handcrafted TOKYObay Argent collection made from recycled vintage pendants.

Tonight’s can’t-miss happening, hosted by Ellner, includes complimentary sips by Corkage Sake and Wine Shop, a chance to chat up TOKYObay's mastermind designer, Dory Isaacs, and a preview of the summer '12 short film. Now you’ll actually enjoy counting down the hours ‘til the clock strikes 5 p.m.
When: Thursday, June 14, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Where: Rare Device, 600 Divisadero Street (at Hayes Street); 415-863-3969.
RSVP: Here!
