It seems like only yesterday that the Lower East Side was the exclusive realm of unkempt hipsters, Bobos, Polish meat importers, yupsters, and various Chinese restaurant suppliers. Oh, wait—that's still true. Okay, the LES is changing rapidly (seen Big Blue lately?) but after only two years in existence, Freemans Sporting Club, the offshoot of the popular restaurant founded by William Tigertt and Taavo Somer, is already part of the fabric of the 'hood. The manly clothing, goods, and haircut site is ringing in their 2-year anniversary with an Autumn Harvest Event tomorrow, Thursday, October 23, from 11am to 8pm and offering 10% off F.S.C.'s new coats, jackets, and shoes, as well as special discounts on their barbershop services all day long. Plus, be sure to wander down Freeman Alley and enjoy free hot apple cider and pumpkin carvings. Is that LES? Well, it is now.
