Saying “I Do”? Make Some Big-Day Decisions At Urban Chic

Look-20slide
Ahh, March in Washington — it's almost pleasant outside, cherry trees are starting to bloom, and a fleet of catering trucks are starting to hit the road. This can only mean one thing: Wedding season is upon us. These next few months can be seriously stressful for buzzing brides-to-be, so if you've got some last-minute (or very ahead-of-schedule) details to wrap up, head to Urban Chic in Georgetown for the boutique's wedding event.
On Friday and Saturday, brides, bridesmaids, and supportive friends can browse a selection of ready-to-order Shoshanna dresses chosen with bridal showers, engagement parties, and rehearsal dinners in mind, plus an array of bridesmaid dresses. Brides in need of styling advice can set up a private consultation with local stylist Meredith Liberty, fuel their dress daydreams with a gown showcase by Carine’s Bridal Atelier, and sneak in some pre-wedding treats from Fluffy Thoughts Bakery. And once you’ve been dressed, measured, and fed (not necessarily in that order), engaged gals and single ladies alike can be primped and pampered with a mini-makeover from Nectar Skin Bar and IPSA for Hair salon. If we had a ring on it, we'd be there.
When: Friday, March 9, through, Saturday, March 10, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: Urban Chic, 1626 Wisconsin Avenue NW; 202-338-5398.
