Twice The Cocktails, Twice The Fun: We’ve Got Your V-Day Drinks

Normally when we think of Valentine's Day indulgences, sweets come to mind — chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate, to be exact. After all, who actually likes those conversation hearts? But, this year, we're loving the idea of making the holiday a little more, ahem, grown-up. That's right, we're talking about sweets in booze form.
Whether you're toasting to love with your nearest and dearest, or simply taking the edge off a rough day, cocktails are just what can make your V-Day great. And, since it is a holiday, your regular vodka-soda just won't cut it. No, we think you deserve to truly indulge. So, we're sharing three of our favorite cocktails with you, all perfect for a romantic night in. Read the so-easy recipes below, and get ready to toss 'em back.

SKYY Infusions Wild Strawberry Saint Valentine

2 oz SKYY Infusions Wild Strawberry
1 oz fresh lemon juice
1 oz apple juice
1/2 oz honey solution
2 medium basil leaves
2 medium strawberries

Muddle basil, strawberries, and lemon juice. Add remaining ingredients. Shake and double strain into coupe glass, and enjoy!

Strawberry Sunrise

2 oz SKYY Infusions Wild Strawberry
1 oz orange juice
1/2 oz grapefruit juice
1/2 oz lime juice
1/2 oz simple syrup
1/4 oz Grenadine

Shake all ingredients except grenadine. Pour liquid over ice in a rocks glass, and then drizzle grenadine at the end.

Renaissance Hotel Love Potion

1 1/2 oz Ketel One vodka
1/2 oz Grand Marnier
1 1/2 oz fresh blood orange juice
1 oz simple syrup
3/4 oz shaved ginger
Lemon candied ginger starfruit (for garnish)

In a mixing glass, muddle mint and simple syrup. Add 1 raspberry, rum, and lime juice. Add ice, and shake vigorously 20 to 30 times. Pour into highball glass, and garnish fresh raspberries and a mint sprig. Garnish with a candied lemon ginger starfruit.
