My style in six words or less:
"Happy, breezy, bright, and artsy."
The dressing difficulties I've had to overcome:
"Sometimes I am unrealistic in the way I put an outfit together, [so] learning to put practical before pretty."
My favorite up-and-coming designers:
"Tsumori Chisato, a Japanese designer — I dig her edgy cuts and the details she adds. Nishe, a Hong Kong-based designer, makes dresses that are fused with girly patterns and soft fabrics, perfect for a spring/summer wardrobe."
My most surprising, out-of-left-field fashion find:
"I was traveling in the remote areas of northern India, near the border of China, and I found this elaborate, vintage-beaded headgear for a bargain — not sure if it was worn by the empress or the local tribe, but it sure works as a statement necklace, and I love it."
My three favorite places to shop:
"Pixie Market, ASOS, and Opening Ceremony."
I could never, ever part with:
"My wedding Lehenga, everything else is a-okay to recycle."
My definitive summer go-to outfit:
"I am a dress girl for most of the year, and summer is an extra-special time to add more frills and flair to it. Pair ‘em with a pair of platform shoes, round shades, and a crossbody satchel – a ‘happy’ combination to stroll around and smell the tulips all season long."
