Vena Cava’s Huge Sale, Starting at $20!

vena-cava-sample-sale-2010-email
It's no secret we carry a pretty blazing torch for Vena Cava. There is just something about designers Lisa Mayock and Sophie Buhai's imaginative yet utterly sophisticated approach to millennial womenswear. And their iconic printed silk gowns, pleated shorts, and clever statement pieces like big fur vests and leather dinner jackets always seem to make us think that if Frank Lloyd Wright and Jean Muir did a fashion collab, it might look something like Vena Cava. And because we know you love this collection as much as we do, we made sure to get an early peek at the goods going up for grabs at tomorrow's Vena Cava sample sale. Among the many treasures available: A jersey Dogon dress for $100, printed T-shirts for $40, a glorious silk black-and-green printed dress for $175, and a million little steals going for a measly $20 a pop in the sample bin. Oh yeah, and ladies, there are just a few pairs of lovely studded mules ($75) from the label's short-lived collection with Via Spiga. So, our advice: Go early, and bring lotsa cash. You will most definitely not be sorry.
