The duo Sophie Buhai and Lisa Mayock of Vena Cava once again beckoned a sea of clever girls, this time skirting a triangle of towering models, as 30,000 crushed CDs reflected below them. The installation of artist and friend Marisa Tesauro was a cool and smartly scaled counterpoint to the dark teals, midnight blue, and shiny hardware details, mixed with cut-out separates and hypnotic patterns—most out of this world. Known for their modern-romantic dresses and vintage-inspired details, this seemed to shift VC in an artful but still feminine direction. Coveted: Their new shoe line for Via Spiga, including classic black patent oxfords with sharp hardware, that would make even Michael Jackson's "Billy Jean" proud.
