It’s back, and bigger than ever before: Victoria Beckham, Alexa Chung, Donatella Versace, Mario Testino, and Michael Kors are the first speakers to be announced for the 2013 Vogue Festival line-up.
If you missed out on its inaugural event last year, you’ll know that Vogue’s festival isn’t a "festival" in the traditional sense of the word — for a start there’s a disappointing lack of mud and no welly-clad Kate Moss roaming around — but it is an impressive gathering of industry heavyweights giving talks and doing Q&As. More of a polite fashion seminar, if you will.
Each speaker will share their experiences and advice through a series of talks and panel debates, and if this first batch of guests is anything to go by, it is going to be fascinating.

Tickets go on sale February 20 and this year’s fashion geek-out takes place on April 27 and 28 at the Queen Elizabeth Hall at Southbank Centre.
Alexandra Shulman said the event would be on a larger scale than last year's shindig, which included guest speakers Stella McCartney and Tom Ford. "Giving our readers the chance to see and hear the people whose talent is reflected in the pages of the magazine surrounded by a fun, fashion environment, attracts an engaged and lively audience that are part of the unique appeal of this event," she added.
More details will follow later this month. We can barely contain ourselves.
