Every day, there seems to be a new report challenging everything we know about bras. Our minds are still blown by the fact that after giving in to the advice of doctors and going through the effort of finding a bra that actually fits, we're still probably doing it wrong. Luckily, there's at least one bra fear we can put to bed — quite literally.
Since our first trainer bras, we were warned of the dangers of wearing a bra to sleep at night. Rumors of saggy boobs — or worse, breast cancer — haunted us. Then, those myths were rebutted by mumblings of the benefits of wearing bras to bed. We didn't know what to believe. But, according to the Huffington Post, we should trust no one when it comes to this particular bedtime debacle.
Previously, Amber Guth, MD told Huffington Post that "there is certainly no evidence that sleeping in bras is either helpful or harmful." Since then, there's been even more research that disproves both sides of the argument. So, wearing a bra to bed could just be a choice, and not something to fear.
Head over to HuffPost Style to settle the debate, once and for all. To bra or not to bra? That is the question. (HuffPost Style)
