What's great about Amber's fall-worthy ensemble is that she's taken the simplest of fashion equations (black + white) and brought it to a whole new level. Never one to pass up an over-the-top look, the Scene of Changery blogger paired a formal lace skirt with one of the most casual closet staples ever, a white button-down. But she didn't stop there — a cinched crop top and round frames finished off the attention-grabbing getup. Go on and stare!

Jayne Min of Stop It Right Now really should rconsider changing her blog title. If anything, everyone has been telling her the opposite — and, with shout-outs from Vogue, Helmut Lang, and the like, it's easy to see why. This outfit, for example, is one of her best to date — sky-high heels keep those tomboyish shorts in check, and that fuzzy coat will help her stay warm, no matter what coast she's on. As for accessories: Min obviously has minimalist dressing down to a science with a single gold necklace and simple black bag.

We think it's pretty clear why we fell in love with Mara's lovely layered look — the M Loves M blogger totally transformed her summer frock with a few strategically placed layers and accessories. Ankle-strap heels and a ladylike purse rather than sandals and a tote elevate this from day to evening in seconds flat. Oh, and that button-down is pure genius — just undo a few of those buttons if things get hot and heavy on your next date night (we're talking about September temps here, people!).
