A Tale Of Three Parties: Epic Snaps

If you happened to be above 50th Street last night, you might have been perplexed by the throngs of pretty young things—suited-up dudes, Akris-glad gals, and more avant-Asian designers than you could shake a stick at. Let's just call it a
Tale Of Three Parties

LOVE
's Gorgeous Issue bash with Longchamp (think Uma Thurman, Olivia Palermo, Alessandra Ambrosia), em>Elle's 25th Anniversary celebration (Sophie Theallet, Yigal Azrouel, Maria Cornejo), and the Whitney Museum's "Studio Party" (Claire Danes, Lisa Salzer, Amanda Hearst). Walking upwards from MoMA, Madison Avenue turned into the Beatrice Inn—you couldn't make a block without running into someone fabulous. We began at Elle, where we rocked out to a lil' Estelle, downed a vodka soda, and peeped our number one crush, Richard Chai, then hot-stepped it up to Longchamp La Maison—we caught a delightfully tipsy Uma Thurma giving some cash to a homeless man and chatting up a storm with the lingering paparazzi. After another quick drink (champagne, but of course), our stilettos endured ten blocks of misery trudging up to the Whitney; The wait was worth it though—we hung with the Michael Kors PR crew, eligible bachelors Darrell Hartman and Peter Davis, designer best-friend-forever Timo Weiland, and beautiful chicas: Claiborne Swanson-Frank, Genevieve Bahrenburg, Bettina Prentice, and Minnie Mortimer. We're not going to tell you if we ended up at the secret-ish after party at the Bunker...let's just say today's been a bit rough.
