Our Fashion-Forward Picks For Mrs. O

We are love, love, loving the fact that the new First Lady donned Jason Wu (an R29 favorite) for the big ball last night. The young NY-based designer is a grad of Parsons (along with other Obama-approved designers, Isabel Toledo and Narciso Rodriguez), but we're even more curious about news of her secret stylist Chicago-based boutique-owning stylist… naturally, we were hoping Michelle got all her designer tips from us. But all this talent scouting got us to wondering: Which about-to-be-major designers could be shipped next to the White House? Refinery29's top picks: Rachel Roy, Chris Benz, Rodarte, and Phillip Lim could all be likely contenders (Shipley & Halmos could be a long-shot, but we love the idea of her wearing one of their perfect shift dresses or gorgeously cut blazers). More importantly, who do you think Michelle should be stocking up on for the next four years?
