No offense to the Jews in the room, but Passover, which began last night, isn't the most, uh, fashionable of holidays. Last week, we gave you an ultimate Passover guide that was heavy on food, light on fashion (even finding a chic Seder plate was tricky). But really, it's about spirituality not style. Or is it? NYC-based designer Michelle Ng of couture headpiece and jewelry line Young&ng is hoping to "add fab fashion to your passover" (her words, not ours) with her over-the-top Yarmulke crowns. For $1,285, you can buy an antique gold model, or, for a "slightly muted effect," try out the gunmetal version. Now, if you truly want to stand out, channel Liberace and go for broke with the $1,495 crown with red Swarovski crystals. But wait, there's more! Young&ng suggests getting quirky and wearing your Yarmulke to the side, which isn't sacrilegious at all.
