Do you remember where you were when
Sex And The City
took its final bow? We do, and ever since, there's been a re-run routine in our SSSB (Sunday night secret single behavior). But eight years and one truly unpleasant film adaptation later, it's looking like there's a Judd Apatow beacon on the HBO horizon!
Girls
restores, well, girls, to primetime. The Sex And The City sass is definitely still intact, but the money and Manolos are out. Lena Dunham, the show's creator and star, plays Hannah, a recently matriculated perpetual intern living in Brooklyn who's taking on singledom with her best gal pal in tow. Sound eerily familiar? Yes, we know. How about this? "I've calculated, and I can last in New York for three-and-a-half more days, maybe seven if I don't eat lunch." That and other lines identical to our texts last night in the trailer (below) make us feel like we could/should have written this script ourselves...but obvs we're setting our DVR for April 15. Ironically Appropriately enough, Girls is premiering on tax day. (Huffington Post)
