Shopping For Your Man? These Spots Should Earn You A Sincere TY Smooch

gq
L.A. ladies, let's have a round of applause for the dudes in our lives. Our sunny SoCal is home to some of the best menswear shopping around, and therefore, some of the hippest gents in the country — and the men's style experts at GQ apparently agree. They've spotlighted several nearby retail locations in their first ever Style Bible issue, with Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Venice taking the cake as “the most happening shopping destination in America.” That's right. In all of America. Can we take a minute to acknowledge the fact that we win, here?

According to the mag, “People who live in Venice are cooler than those of us who just visit.” Well, we could've told you that one — oh wait, we did! With its eclectic mix of shops ranging from innovative design store A+R to urban-cool retailer Milkmade, Abbot Kinney serves up some of the best shopping around for all Angelenos, period. In particular though, the guy-friendly goods here seem to be endless – whether your dude’s eyeing vintage Rolexes at Guild, or limited-edition kicks from Waraku, you don’t ever have to think twice about where to get the coolest gizmos and gifts for your high-style hombre(s).
In addition, some of the area's other ultra-chic menswear boutiques made GQ’s list of the 25 Best Men’s Stores in America. Tom Ford in Beverly Hills, South Willard on West Third, the Cabazon Outlets near Palm Springs (our personal fave), and RTH Shop in WeHo were honored for their meticulous stocklists and storefronts. So, whether your main squeeze is a seasoned style warrior or is still trying to find his sartorial footing, now you know where to go to keep him living well and looking good.
