LuvAJ’s Bad Ass Chic Summer Collection Takes To The Desert With Molly McQueen

Luv AJ designer Amanda Thomas is one crazy cool chick. What started out as her after-school hobby has morphed into a seriously sweet line of jewelry and accessories—and we are totally LUVing it. The unique must-have pieces are all hand crafted out of vintage components, creating a whimsical, yet modern sensibility that is truly one-of-a-kind.This time around the 22-year-old art student-turned designer was inspired by Steve McQueen films, so she headed to the desolate but dreamy desert with actress Molly McQueen Flattery (the actor's grand-daughter) to showcase the ridiculously awesome summer jewelry collection. We can't get enough of the metal spikes, jagged Fool's Gold, and gunmetal chains that make us feel as though we have retrograded back to star in the 1965 classic film, The Cincinnati Kid. And the gold knuckle buster ring is a perfect combination of bad ass femininity, which has us wishing we could be part of The Great Escape, but for now we are totally digging this hardcore, underground line of to-die-for gems and jewels.
