S.F. Artist (And R29 Fave!) Maja Ruznic Lands The Cover Of New American Paintings

Not only are a gaggle of our local musicians making major waves nationally, one of our favorite S.F.-based artists — and Refinery29 San Francisco subject! — Maja Ruznic, is standing directly in the spotlight this month after one of her gorgeous paintings landed her on the cover of
New American Paintings
!

The 2012 issue of the magazine, which will sit on newsstands baring Ruznic's painting all year round, is the result of a juried competition in which thousands of artists across the country enter their work.

One glance at the multi-dimensional artist's portfolio, however, and it's not hard to tell why the talented Potrero-based beauty won the jurors over.
