Sure, some may say that Union Street has a hit-or-miss selection of sartorial offerings, and we won't argue there. But between the chain stores and spendy boutiques there is an oasis of awesomely priced goodness called Marmalade that is definitely on our hit list.
So, when we heard the news that Marmalade was moving, the tears started to swell. We thought for a quickie we had the rug slipped out from under us. Where else would we go for hot merch under $50 and the sweetest smelling candles? Well, put down the tissues folks — Marmalade isn't going anywhere, anytime soon.

The quaint shop has expanded, nearly tripling in size! The bigger the better, right? Meaning even more colorful home furnishings, brightly hued separates, and great hostess gifts. The spot is softly opening its doors this Friday during the Union Street Festival, but will officially swing open mid-June. What else is cooking at the S.F shop? A style studio, a.k.a. "The Marmalade Kitchen." Sounds like a recipe for even more chic happenings!
