Between wildly creative designs, salon-worthy stick-ons, cracked topcoats, and a rotating array of intriguing polish shades, nails have been getting some major play lately. But we've spotted another trend taking hold: Super long talons. Glimpsed on the fall runways; on celebs like Keri Hilson, Rihanna, Katy Perry, and Beyonce; and even in editorials and ads (like Tom Ford's NSFW Neroli Portofino campaign), the long nail trend is gaining some serious traction. Sure, there's something distinctly alluring and sultry about these types of talons, but they also skew a little Mob Wives (you know, that horrifyingly fascinating VH1 reality show) and we can only imagine they make typing ridiculously frustrating. Sure, we're all for some nail art exploration, but tell us, are you into this latest weapon of choice or should going long be cut short?
