You know how some mornings you just want to live in leggings and you also can't decide what shoes to wear? And, so, on those days, you march down to your local patent office and file a trademark for your leather-legging-meets-boot contraption — wait, what was that last part?

Okay, so not all of us invent sartorial genius from our daily wardrobe woes. But, lucky for us, Tamara Mellon does. The former Jimmy Choo designer and author of the very juicy
In My Shoes: A Memoir
has designed the ultimate wardrobe solution for, well, the entire lower half of your body. Ladies, meet the legging-boot.

Available at Net-A-Porter for $1,995 and described as "a thigh boot that pulls right up into a legging," the Sweet Revenge legging-boots may have a name that highlights a dominatrix-y side, but honestly, we can imagine them playing a rather sensible role in the non-Catwoman's wardrobe, too. Now, before you ask, the garment is available in many different shoe-and-pant-size combinations, and the leather has a bit of stretch, so you won't have to contort your body to get into these. So, now, we have to wonder: Would you wear 'em? And, more importantly, is the proper portmanteau for these "beggings" or "loots"? (Lucky)
