Terra New York Makes Chic Rain Gear For The Serious Bike Rider

April showers may bring pretty florals, but they also bring about a crop of cute raincoats. Terra New York , conceived by Yurika Nakazono and Marie Saeki, is a fashion-forward line for the chic bike rider who not only requires functional clothing for varying weather conditions, but also duds that won't make her look like a Hefty bag. For the first collection, Terra New York features materials such as heavy PVC and some pieces with reflective seam lights for cycling after dark. The collection includes hats, bags, and shoes that will also include PVC in varying weights for dryness, comfort and style. Terra New York is slated to hit stores in January 2011, and will retail between $60-$220.
