Days after Fox News contributor Dr. Keith Ablow went mad over the promotional photo of J.Crew's President and Executive Creative Director Jenna Lyons painting the nails of her five-year-old son, Beckett, we are not the only ones left scratching our heads and wondering what all the hoopla is about. Lyons is by far not the only mother who has indulged her son's request to join in on a little manicure fun. Gwen Stefani's sons, Kingston and Zuma Rossdale, have been spotted at the salon with mom and sporting some pretty rad manis, we must admit. Even the "World's Most Beautiful Woman," Jennifer Lopez, says her son Max asks for his nails to be painted while playing with his twin sister, Emme. On the flip, we would cringe to here what Dr. Ablow would say about Shiloh Jolie-Pitt who is infamous for picking tomboy attire and breaking the stereotypical girly-girl gender role. He said the bright pink polish on Beckette was a representation of "homogenizing males and females," but as Lopez told People magazine, to a three-year-old, "it's just paint."
