Store Tour: Indie-Minded Twisted Sisters Boutique Opens In Sunny Isles

The influx of local Miami boutiques in 2012 has been totally astounding. First we had La'Mode, and then we received the Isa pop-up (not to mention the earlier arrivals this year). Brick-and-mortar stores in the 305 seem to be not only alive, but blazing the path as indie label-laden, fully stocked, constantly rotating style havens. The newest addition lands in Sunny Isles' The Shoppes at St.Tropez. Named Twisted Sisters (not the Dee Snyder-fronted hair-metal band, guys), this spacious shop prides itself on featuring international and hard-to-find labels, and one-of-a-kind goods from emerging brands. The result is a shop teeming with all sorts of buys, from flirty lingerie to gifts for soon-to-be-moms, all with a unique twist (like the name! Get it?).
The pink-and-rose-printed walls are a refreshing change to the North Miami hubbub, and we've already spotted some immediate picks, like one of our favorite local brands Jewels by Dunn and heaps of studded and bedazzled jeans and scoop-neck tops. We've got a walk-through for you right here, so turn on "We're Not Gonna Take It" and snatch some new indie scores. Twisted Sisters, 200 Sunny Isles; no number.
