That’s Stella McCartney, OBE, Thank You Very Much

What with that Team GB Olympics kit and a win for Designer of the Year, 2012 was a pretty exceptional year for Stella McCartney. Even so, 2013 is already looking to be even better for the eco-friendly designer ... and it's all down to the Queen.
Fresh off bestowing Sarah Burton with an OBE distinction, Queen Elizabeth is set to do the same for Mini Macca, who has been named an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in the 2013 New Year Honours List. Sir Paul must be beside himself.
McCartney's not the only Brit being recognised for her work in the fashion industry. Tatty Devine co-founders Harriet Vine and Rosie Wolfenden have been named Masters of the British Empire (MBE), as has Caryn Franklin of All Walks Beyond the Catwalk.

Big ups also go to Kate Bush, Ewan McGregor, Tracey Emin, and illustrator Quentin Blake. Sounds like Her Majesty has quite the party planned! (WWD)
