Most mamas-to-be spend their days searching in vain for comfy maternity clothes that will fit their bumps while still bearing at least a passing resemblance to their non-preggo style. Not Kate Middleton, though, who need only look to her pals at Issa for the perfect baby-on-board wardrobe.
While the Duchess of Cambridge has reportedly been hitting up JoJo Maman Bebe on the King's Road for some maternity wares, Issa is cashing in on the royal pregnancy by offering the indigo-hued wrap-effect dress worn by Middleton for her engagement announcement in new maternity sizes.
Blossom Mother and Child is currently selling the 100% silk dress — now with extra room for baby bumps! — for £522. And while that may seem like a lot to spend on a dress you'd feasibly only wear for a trimester or two, we've no doubt that the Middleton Midas touch will send it flying off the shelves anyway.
Now, we just need Sarah Burton to follow through on her wish to design some Alexander McQueen maternity wear — once the designer gives birth herself, of course. And can we request some nude court shoes that will accommodate swollen feet while we're at it? (Huffington Post)
