Be still our inner goddesses, for Christian Grey's got himself a hot brother. The playboy foil to the secretive kinky life of Fifty Shades' protagonist has been cast. World, meet Luke Grimes, your new Elliot Grey.
Yes, he's super pretty and thanks to True Blood, he knows a thing or two about onscreen sexy time, but can we talk about how the producers nailed this casting call on the head? Seriously, Grimes and Jamie Dornan, the official Christian Grey, could easily pass as siblings in real life. Perhaps it's their mastery of the steely glare. Who knows, but the producers made a good call with this decision. Now all that's needed is an actress to play Anastasia's best friend/Elliot's love interest, so the tumultuous film can finally begin filming. We might have to wait an extra month to watch it come, though. The filming date has been pushed back, which will likely mean a fall 2014 release over a summer one. We say that works in our benefit because we have to get better acquainted with Mr. Grimes' True Blood, er, scenes before hand. (The Hollywood Reporter)
