Live Like A Westeros Highborn In These Game Of Thrones-Style Castles

We were fortunate enough to visit the set of Game of Thrones in Belfast last summer, and yes, we sat in The Iron Throne. As you might expect, it's a thrill that not even witnessing the birth of our first child can eclipse. (That hasn't happened yet, but we'll be sure to report back when it does.)

Our point is, you're never too old to play make-believe, especially when the beliefs that you're making are centered around Game of Thrones. It would appear that the fine folks at HomeAway, the online vacation rental marketplace agree. They've put together their top five Castle vacation rental homes and matched them with five castles in the Seven Kingdoms that best match their features and descriptions. These castles span the entire globe and are good for both romantic getaways and boozy blowouts. And, if you really want to get into the spirit, costume parties are not only welcome, they're encouraged. Unfortunately, dragons are not included.
