This might not be breaking news, but models aren't just models anymore. Nope, they're full-fledged talent machines who act, design, and even sing. Like our dear Gisele Bündchen, who as it turns out, has quite a set of pipes. We first discovered her not-so-secret talent last fall when she covered The Kinks' "All Day And All Of The Night" for a little studio session video for H&M.
Well, it seems she did something right, because the fashion brand brought her back to sing again. This time Bündchen is covering Blondie's "Heart Of Glass," as seen in this music video, where she's bikini-clad for the entire performance, and does a lot of writhing around. Shots of Gisele "dancing" on the beach and "dancing" with a microphone are interspersed with (majestic?) images of wild horses running through the surf.
Now, we're big fans of the supermodel's previous work (specifically her nod to Boyz II Men from last month's Late Night with Jimmy Fallon), but this pill is a little harder to swallow. It could be that we're still scarred from all those "Bound 2" parodies and the horses are just giving us flashbacks. Or, it could be that this music video really isn't as good as it should be. After all, this is Gisele we're talking about — when her name is attached to anything, our expectations automatically skyrocket. Yet, after way too many viewings of clip, all we're left with is a furrowed brow and the desire to never don a bikini again.
So, readers, we're leaving it up to you: Are you feeling this little ditty or is it way too cheesy?
