Liam Hemsworth Was Overheard Raving About Miley

Loose lips sink ships, Liam Hemsworth. The Australian actor is learning that the hard way after one of his private conversations made its way to the gossip columns.

Sources tell Page Six that the Hunger Games star was having a heart-to-heart with friends at the restaurant Puny in Portofino, Italy, when the conversation turned to his relationship with his former fiancée, Miley Cyrus. Naturally, the source couldn't help but overhear/take notes/make a phone call to New York City.

"Liam kept raving about how amazing she was, how much they clicked and understood everything about each other," the source told Page Six. "He also said they bought a lot of furniture, but he had to leave it behind when they broke up and he got his new place, which was furnished.”

Hemsworth allegedly added that he and the pop star would "always be best friends,” and they shared “an instantaneous and powerful connection.” Do people actually talk like that?

Cyrus has been a bit more vocal about her side of the story. Her single "Last Goodbye" is said to be about her split with Hemsworth. She also told concertgoers that "Wrecking Ball" was a "fuck you" to her ex.

That doesn't exactly scream "best friends forever," but, hey, breakups are complicated. (Page Six)
