Rose Byrne's latest endeavor has our girl crush meters going
off the charts.
The actress, along with four of her filmmaker pals including
actress/director Gracie Otto, have co-founded an all-female production company
called The Dollhouse Creative.
The company's goal is to "explore the creative
boundaries of film, television and theater" while maintaining relationships
and advocating artistic collaborations.
Pretty incredible, right?
Byrne is currently on a press tour for her new film
Adult Beginners, but her pal Otto was able to describe the Dollhouse Collective's mission more clearly in an interview with
ScreenDaily.
“The core aim is to develop theater, film and television together and tell stories with a strong female presence," Otto said. "This formalizes what we are already doing. Sitting around the dinner table we have always been sounding boards for each other.”
Could we get a seat at that table, please?
