A Day In The Life (And Lipstick) Of L.A. Ingenue Geri Hirsch

There's a darn good reason blogger/style ingenue/mogul-in-the-making Geri Hirsch is a very busy lady. Her blog Because I'm Addicted, which chronicles her life as a 20-something running around the L.A. fashion and lifestyle scene, has propelled her from a typical blogger to bona-fide style star. In addition to her daily posts, Geri also serves as the lifestyle editor for This Next, the creative director for Style Visor, and is in development on her web-based lifestyle and how-to site, LEAF.tv. See what we mean about busy? To prove it, we tagged along for an afternoon and evening of coffee, shopping, and cocktails–and, as you can imagine–it was anything but boring.

2 p.m.: Coffee at Palihouse—"I rarely have a moment to myself during the day, but when I do, I love to indulge in a quiet cup of coffee on the Palihouse rooftop. With Palihouse’s iconic views, I fall in love with Los Angeles all over again. As an ode to the energy of the city, I wore bright shorts, a flirty lace tank, and a bad-ass studded leather jacket....and was very happy to leave my mark on a bright white coffee cup with a smudge of Dior Addict Lipstick in Bobo 530.

4 p.m.: Shopping at TENOVERSIX—"There’s nothing I appreciate more than a store with a real point of view, and a boutique like TENOVERSIX inspires me not only to shop, but also to dress for the occasion. For today’s excursion, I wore high-waisted shorts and a statement necklace, then punched it up color-wise with a swipe of Dior Addict Lipstick in Diorkiss 578. Perfection."

7 p.m.: Dinner at Ray’s & Stark bar—"Art, food, and fashion? Pencil me in! I popped by LACMA’s new courtyard eatery Ray’s & Stark Bar for a quick cocktail and some major ambiance courtesy of Chris Burden’s famed Urban Light installation. I channeled my inner muse with a sculpted high pony, drop-waist leather pants, a tailored tuxedo jacket, and a dab of Dior Addict Lipstick in Rock 'n Roll 750, which got the artful mood just right."
