London’s 8 Coolest Fashion Photographers — And They’re Really, Ridiculously Talented

Every city likes to think they’re the final word on cool. So admittedly, we’re a bit biased, but we believe that London trends harder than any other place on the planet. And at the heart of Cool London lies the city’s ever-burgeoning art scene and its ever-prolific photographers.

These days, our Facebook and Instagram feeds are flooded with digital snapshots chronicling our friends’ daily lives. It’s easy to forget that some people actually make a living from taking photos. In scouting out eight of London’s most talented snap-happy souls, we turned our backs on Tumblr, and asked our favourite shutterbugs some questions about themselves, their work, – and yes, their iPhones.

From zine queens to street-style stalkers, these folks have been featured in the likes of i-D and Vogue, and photographed famous mugs ranging from Karl Lagerfeld to Lana del Rey. In a city where many people live to be hip, the photographers interviewed here have taken their craft beyond the 1977 filter, and turned their vision and passion into a profession.
