Fall In Love: Lauren Moffatt’s Spring Collection

We're positively swooning like a newlywed over Lauren Moffatt's spring '11 collection, entitled "The Honeymooner And What She Packed." Inspired by a dress the designer's mother kept from her own honeymoon, Moffatt stays true to her vintage-chic roots with her newest offerings, which are full of pastels, pleats, and pretty prints, not to mention country-inspired looks, mod babydoll dresses and one seriously fabulous embroidered skirt. Exhibiting the editing eye of an experienced designer, she keeps things from getting too twee with streamlined silhouettes and sophisticated details like laquered belts, silk headscarves and sleek gold studs. We're closing our eyes and imagining ourselves jetting off on an exotic adventure in one of Moffatt's glam yet ladylike ensembles—this is one honeymoon phase we don't think will wear off anytime soon!
Want to score one of Lauren's polished pieces? Comment on this post on Facebook and tell us what piece you are saving up for this fall, and our favorite answer will score a fab chambray dress from the collection (left), which retails for $350.
