We all have our go-to dishes at restaurants around this city. Yes, it can be embarrassing perpetually ordering the same thing, but habits are comforting. And some dishes are just really, really good. So, here is a portion of our favorites. They're not all new—in fact, you'll find some Big Apple classics here—and they're not all swanky—they tend more toward communal tables and butcher's paper than they do sommeliers and gangs of flatware. These restaurants and their offerings made the cut because on any given night, you can find at least one of us tucking into many of these dishes.
