January Jones Channels Her Inner Joan With A Red-Hot Makeover

Looks like all those comparisons to Joan finally got to January Jones. Sporting extensions and a hot red hair color, Mad Men's resident Ice Queen was spotted over the weekend rocking a new 'do that's a huge departure from her usual short, platinum locks. And we're loving the strawberry blonde hue on her — it warms up her whole look and makes her seem ever so much more approachable.

This isn't the first time January has dabbled with hair dye; back in March she took us by surprise when she showed up on the red carpet with My Little Pony pink streaks. Maybe her pop-art highlights were just a test run for the new look? Either way, we're glad to see her changing things up — her usual coiff, while pretty, is far too similar to the look her character sports on the show, and we're still kind of pissed at Betty for being such a brat over the years.

We're not sure yet if this is for a role, or if she just got bored, but we can't wait to see her vibrant strands all styled and in their full glory on the red carpet. (People)
