Mark Zuckerberg Is Now A Mission Resident!

Just a quick glance around the city’s popular Mission neighborhood and it’s easy to understand why peeps are so eager to hole up there. The lauded restaurants, cool shops, and hip parks — oh, and that fact it just so happens to be one of the sunniest nooks in S.F. are incredibly enticing. Well, it looks like the desired area is getting yet another new buzzy inhabitant. According to BuzzFeed and SFist, none other than Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has bought a pad in the Mission, on the fringe of Noe Valley.

Although the exact location is unknown, the Zuck has been spotted walking his pup around Dolores Street, hanging out at Dolores Park and the dive bar Phone Booth (25th and Van Ness), and grubbing at Wise Sons Deli (24th and Shotwell). Also, our in-house intel has it that Zuckerberg’s wife, Priscilla Chan, was seen scoping out a place on Liberty and 21st, but deemed the house not private enough for the couple's needs.
So, does all of this mean Zuckerberg will be permanently migrating from Palo Alto, or is this just an additional place for him to crash once he’s had a few too many Wise Sons’ bagels (a supposed fave)? Who knows! But our bet is on the fact that the Facebook honcho is going to be spending a lot more time up north, especially with so many new tech companies opening within city limits (versus the South Bay). Whatever the case, we say keep the Zuck sightings coming!
