We’re more than certain many San Franciscans woke up today with a pounding headache after wildly fêting the Giants phenomenal World Series win. Can you blame us? The streets were alive with the sounds of champagne popping, cheering fans, and (while we definitely don't endorse this) a few small fires. Even if you aren’t exactly a sports junkie, it was hard — make that impossible — to ignore the infectious energy flowing through our city the last few weeks. Not only did we manage to aggressively come back and make it to the World Series, but we swept the Detroit Tigers, 4-0, making it our second series win within three years.
