With this year's strangest fast-food-referencing feud coming to a close, it really is beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Oscar de la Renta and Cathy Horyn have finally decided to cease the bickering and play nice. The fashion critic was recently spotted front-row at the designer's pre-fall collection, sporting a de la Renta dress, no less.
When asked by
WWD
about her wrinkled relationship with the designer, the critic claimed there was nothing left "unironed" in the first place. Oh, Cathy Horyn and her love of tricky metaphors, some of which are exactly what got her in trouble in the first place...we digress.
De la Renta, too, was on his best grown-up behavior, saying, "She came to see me before the show and I told her we probably approach fashion in two different ways. I respect her way and I hope she respects my way. My vision of fashion is for my customers," adding, "I read every single article she writes on fashion. I never hold grudges." All that's left to do now is alert Gaga.
