It's been a rough couple of years for ScarJo. She's split from hubby Ryan Reynolds, had private nude photos hit the blogosphere, dated Sean Penn, and endured the copious coverage of Reynolds' summer wedding to Blake Lively. Just one of those things would send us straight to a gallon of Ben & Jerry's, but Elle UK's February cover girl seems to be taking it all in stride.
Posing for Rankin in a crisp white Victoria Beckham dress paired with matching leather peep-toe booties from Manolo Blahnik, the Hitchcock star opens up to the British mag about dealing with drama.

"I keep it together," she says. "I am relatively composed but I can also lose my sh*t. I’m pretty controlled, and probably controlling too, for better or worse. I’m working on it ... It was a crazy time. I had some problems in my family and publicly, my relationship — all that stuff. It was like 'Oh man what next?' But life has ebbs and flows, don’t you think? Things are more manageable now, but I’m sure something will crumble."
Chin up, dearie. Though her editorial portfolio sees Johansson modelling dreamy white and pastel designs from Calvin Klein, Tom Ford, Burberry Prorsum, and Jonathan Saunders, the blonde beauty says she won't be suiting up in bridal white anytime soon.
"I got married when I was young and it was incredibly romantic and I liked being married, actually," she tells the magazine. "But it is different. It’s hard to put into words. To me, being in a functioning relationship doesn’t mean you have to be married. I never think about marriage. Is that weird? The only time I ever think about it is when people ask me. It’s really not important to me. It has no relevance to me right now. I’m not having kids any time soon, I’m in a nice relationship, I’m working a lot, and, like I said, it’s not important to me.”
Fair play. The interview, the full version of which hits newsstands today, also has Johansson weighing in on her sex symbol status, her new film, and a slew of other interesting tidbits. Pick it up for the full scoop (and to scope those gorgeous lady-in-white shots).
