Karl Lagerfeld may be the master of turning heads for whimsy runway creations, like the hula-hoop bag and pearl freckles, but in today's haute couture show, the clothing was not the only thing making a statement. Showing support for French President François Hollande's same-sex marriage bill, Lagerfeld ended his spring '13 presentation with fanciful, frilly, matching wedding dresses worn by two doting brides-to-be.

Escorted by the coolest Chanel model under four feet, Hudson Kroenig, the brides sashayed down the runway, forgoing veils for feathers, as Lagerfeld trailed close behind.
