The world has been ooh-ing and aah-ing ever since we heard the first rumblings of a new Justin Timberlake album, but by the time tonight's Grammys rolled around, the buzz had become practically deafening. Not only does the "Suit & Tie" singer have a part in half the commercials on TV right now, he's also booked a starring role on stage at the awards show — including a duet moment with the one and only Mr. Carter.
Of course, the good times can't roll forever. Timberlake's performance was full-on old-school, channeling Frank Sinatra with a full band (hello, Tennessee Kids), old-fashioned mics, and a sepia filter for the TV broadcast. Jay-Z brought it back to present day when he hopped on stage for an interlude (Also, you know who looks great in a tux? Hova.), accompanied by some signature JT dance moves (Awkward? Endearing? you be the judge.). But, as the music died down, there was one very clear question in the air: Is that all?

The Twitterverse seems to be wondering if this really counts as a comeback. Personally, we think this first single off the 20/20 Experience has Timberlake's signature understated glory. And it's totally grown on us.
But popular opinion seemed to find the performance lacking. Where do you stand?
