Is Karen Elson The Coolest Ex-Wife, Ever?

She models, she mothers, she sings, she stays friendly with her ex-husband...is there anything Karen Elson can't do? Probably not. For Harper's Bazaar U.K.'s May cover shoot, the ravishing redhead drapes herself in springtime florals and reveals that her divorce from rocker Jack White isn't such a thorny issue after all.

“At the end of the day, Jack is always going to be in my life, and I in his," the 34-year-old model says. "Like Meg [White Stripes band member and Jack’s other ex-wife] has always been in Jack’s... I adore Meg. But, of course, being close can create problems for others. It’s not particularly easy for the new people who want to go out with us to know that we are still good friends."

Ooh, tricky. Even so, Elson's doesn't shy from gushing about White, praising him as the "voice of a generation" as she poses for Alexi Lubomirski in decadent frocks from Chanel, Erdem, and Alexander McQueen.
